NEW WILDLIFE

Arctic from Above
Sun, 8pm, Sky Nature & Sky Showcase (box set, Sky Box Sets & NOW)

Presenter and wildlife biologist Liz Bonnin embarks on an epic adventure across the stunning Arctic for her beautifully filmed new Sky Nature series, Arctic from Above.

Across the three-parter, she hopes to understand how the region’s rich and diverse wildlife has adapted to survive at the top of the world and how it’s coping with our planet’s changing climate.

‘I’ve been given a rare chance to join teams of scientists who are protecting wildlife by studying it from above, using helicopters to track elusive animals, deploying drones to make new discoveries, and using state-of-the-art satellites to understand behaviours never observed before,’ explains Bonnin.

‘I want to understand how Arctic wildlife is faring in the face of climate change and how scientists are working to save it.’

Here, Bonnin, 46, guides us through the series…
